"Lactose Intolerance"...is it really sooo prevalent?

I have so many patients who come to my practice and profess of their "lactose intolerance". When I tell them that "lactose intolerance" is a rarity, they do not believe.......until their first sip of delicious, creamy raw milk and have NO reaction! THEN,they become converts (lol)!
True lactose intolerance does occur but very infrequently in the general population. People need to become educated on the inner workings of the digestive tract and less dependent on these label assigned by conventional wisdom to keep them on pharmaceuticals and processed poisons (AKA: supermarket, packaged foods).
